In preparation for Steam Next Fest, we’ve just released a major new demo update packed with new content, progression systems, balance changes, and lots of overall polish!
Changes:
Collectibles System (building colors, logos + colors, monuments and biome/building tracking) - you will be able to add even more personal touch to you colonies! These are tied to achievements and in-game progression
reworked balance and progression
introduced a ton of UI improvements and gameplay polish
additional placement controls - hold left ctrl + mouse scroll for precise rotation (thanks for the idea bwinder94!)
Q\[b]E to switch to previous\\next asteroid (on maps with multiple asteroids)
custom score bubble shape support for some buildings
better placement and scoring feedback
Simple Photo Mode (F9, we'll be extending it in future updates)
We’re also preparing a special Steam Next Fest leaderboard event:
🏆 The top 10 players on the Demo leaderboard during the event will win a free copy of AstroScaper!
Thanks so much for all the support and feedback so far - it’s genuinely helping us shape the game as we move toward release.
See you among the stars!
