Hi everybody! In November we were part of our first Steam event. This was totally unplanned. We found out - just two days before the Animal fest started - that we can enter even if we don't have a demo. The results were quite nice. We had a relatively big jump in wishlists. Still not quite where we aim to be but given that we entered without a demo and with last minute store page modifications, things went pretty well.
Other that that we continue our work focusing on the demo part of the map. We're adding additional features from our ToDo list making the game feel more and more adventurous and full of little things to discover.
We added a new type of worm - the windsurfing worm. They are trying to get some tan on the beach (just like regular sunbathing worms) but if you get to close, they jump on a windsurf and sail away. They aren't so easy to catch.
We started adding some caves that connect different parts of the map. Some might just offer a shortcut while others present the only way to reach certain areas. You will however need to first obtain a lamp before entering one of these tunnels. But don't let the cave-in get you down!
With holiday time ahead we hope to find a lot of time to focus on developing the game as we'll be able to catch some breath from our regular jobs.
Enjoy December!
