Hello everyone!
I've been testing the new content, and while there are still plenty of minor optimizations needed, I believe there are no more game-breaking bugs that halt progress. So, I've decided to put it on Playtest and await your (hopefully gentle) feedback!
What's New:
Added shops where you can buy items.
Added a letter-sending system which can reward you with recipes and more.
If you see this message and haven't finished the current demo yet (it's about an hour long – why not power through it in one go?), please try to finish it soon! The new Playtest version will use a new save file, meaning your old progress won't carry over.
This decision is mainly because the new content might conflict with old saves, potentially causing issues like obtaining duplicate items.
However, if you're determined to use your old save, it's not entirely impossible. You can try to force it by finding your old save file and overwriting the new one. Just rename your old save to the following:
C:\\Users\\YourName\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Cushy\\animalbakery
The game currently reads the save file named SaveData_002.
I'm quite new to the whole process of game release and maintenance. I hope this approach is acceptable to everyone!
