One year ago today, on April 29th, I released the first episode of what would go on to become Campus Bonds! Since then, I've come a long way as a developer, and I'm glad that I can make people happy with my game. It's truly one of the best things that's ever happened to me, and I'm thankful to be working on such a project. Let's take a quick look back at what we've accomplished in just one year (excluding the original episode):
- Two full episodes released, with a third currently in development.
- In a single year, I managed to create 3823 static renders and 173 animations, numbers I'm absolutely looking forward to beating next year.
- Implemented new features and systems to expand the gameplay experience. (Quick Time Events, Affinity Spectrum system, Quest Tracker and more).
- Improved visual fidelity, lighting, and animation smoothness compared to Episode 1.
- Campus Bonds now contains over 5 hours of engaging gameplay and storytelling.
Beyond the numbers, I'm genuinely proud of the growth we've made. It might sound like a cliché, but I never thought I'd get to where I am now. What once started as a simple idea has now turned into something special, and I'm blessed to be given such an opportunity. I can't wait to show you my ideas, my visions, and what Campus Bonds can become.
So, to wrap this up: thank you for being here, for enjoying Campus Bonds, and for supporting this journey. Thank you, to those who have been here from the very beginning, and to those who joined along the way. I hope you'll still be with me a year from now, as we celebrate even more milestones together.
Love,
MCVN.
(PS: For now, enjoy this little sneak peek of Sadie.)
