Happy October!
Autumn is my favorite time of year for quite a few reasons. Namely, the weather and the changing of the leaf colors. Plus, The Great Coffee Caper takes place in autumn! What a lovely coincidence! We hope you all are having a wonderful season so far!
There are a few announcements. So, without further ado, let's get started:
Development Update (short)
The next update for the demo is still progressing, albeit at a slow pace. I am in school at the moment, and my work for it has taken up almost all of my time these past few weeks.
This update will be much bigger than the previous two as I hope to move away from the demo so that development on the full game can begin.

The GameMaker Awards
If you don't know, the engine that The Great Coffee Caper is made in is GameMaker. Every year, they give out awards for various categories (Best Game, Most Anticipated, etc). Nominations are open until October 16.
Jacob and I noticed that our spot for "Most Anticipated Game" trophies is noticeably barren.....
This is quite the predicament and we can't possibly go into 2026 with this empty space! I trust that you people will know what to do during this time...

Music
Along with the changing of the seasons, comes a new Steam Sale! During the Steam Autumn Sale you can buy the demo soundtrack for The Great Coffee Caper at a discounted price on both Steam and Bandcamp!
(If you purchase on Steam, you will also get music from the full game when it releases for no additional charge!)

Final Thoughts
I don't have all too many final thoughts for this time. We both love watching the YouTube videos that have been posted of people playing the demo. It's so cool to see people experience something for the first time that you've worked so hard on. Laughing at the jokes you wrote, being surprised by the things you've grown numb to, watching a mouse walk over water. Yeah...Things like that....
Truly, the Lord Jesus has blessed us so. And we are so glad to see everyone experience the world we've crafted over the past 2 years (roughly).
