Patch Notes for 1.4.4:
New Ghost: We have launched a new ghost today! Pop into a game to find out who it is!
Community Characters: We are excited to announce that, although we don’t yet have a complete character generator, we do have a way for the community to get even more involved in Dead Realm. We have added a button in game where you can find instructions on how to create your own custom human character using Mixamo Fuse (By Adobe). After creating your character, you can submit the character file (.FUSE) inside of Dead Realm and the Dead Realm team will review all submitted characters and we may include our favorites in the game, so check back to see if you’re character is in! In-Game Text Chat: Even if you don’t have a mic and headphones, you can now text chat in-game with your teammates while running for your life!
Unique Ghost Abilities: This is something the community has been requesting for a while and we wanted to begin implementing unique Ghost Abilities. Reap and Seek and Bounty now include unique ghost abilities, giving you a little boost in finding humans to reap. Find the Ghost that best fits your style!
New User Interface: We decided to overhaul the old UI and spook it up a bit, which includes:
- New Ghost & Human Selection Screens
- New Character icons in-game! Know exactly which human got reaped!
- New Post Results Screen! Allows you to see the scores when coming back to the lobby
- New, more intuitive, in-game HUD
Expanded Search: We have added an “Expanded Search" function in the lobby to enable players to find more games, but it may result in finding people with high ping/lag.
Various Bug Fixes: We have addressed a lot of outstanding bugs.
