We have an important update regarding the official release of our text-only RPG, Saga & Seeker. After careful consideration, we are announcing that the game's official release is now scheduled for the end of February 2026.

Incredible Results from Our Second Closed Beta Test
We recently concluded our second Closed Beta Test over the winter holidays, and the response was truly overwhelming. Despite the limited test period, our players collectively logged over 22,000 hours of playtime!
Furthermore, the engagement we saw was incredible, with an average playtime of 27 hours and 47 minutes, and a median playtime of 5 hours and 21 minutes—even higher than our first test. We were especially thrilled to see reports on our official Discord server from players who had logged over 200 hours. Thank you all so much for your passion and dedication.

Regarding the Change in Release Schedule
It is precisely because so many of you have invested so much time into the game, and because of the massive amount of invaluable feedback we received, that we have made this decision.
To ensure we can release the game in a state that players can enjoy with confidence and peace of mind, we have decided to postpone the launch to the end of February.
The feedback from the second CBT highlighted two main areas of concern for our players: the cost structure associated with the pay-per-use system and the "Dice Roll Mode."
The development team takes your feedback on the cost very seriously. We have concluded that it is essential to take this extra time to adjust the cost-related systems, even if it means extending the development window.
Saga & Seeker is a new and experimental game unlike any other. With few precedents to follow, we face many difficult challenges, and solving them takes time. Through our beta tests, we have gained a clearer understanding of several key issues: the operational costs incurred by using external generative AI APIs, the unavoidable impact of currency exchange rate fluctuations on these costs, and the extensive verification and adjustments required for our infrastructure.
Based on these findings, we are currently making adjustments to allow for a more affordable and accessible gameplay experience. Specifically, we are exploring the addition of different generative AI models and refining our prompts to reduce costs. We ask for your patience as we work on these improvements.
Regarding the Dice Roll Mode, we have determined that it requires a major overhaul. Therefore, it will not be included in the initial release but is planned for implementation in a post-launch update.
We are working diligently to address all these issues without compromising the core appeal of Saga & Seeker. Our goal is to deliver a game that you can enjoy with complete peace of mind.
To everyone who has been eagerly awaiting the release, we sincerely apologize for the delay and any concern this may cause. We are deeply grateful for your understanding and continued support.
Thank you,
The Saga & Seeker Development Team
