A new update to The Descendant Episode Two has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart the game. Here is a list of fixes and known issues:
Fixes
- Improved quality of animations
- Fixed an issue affecting some players where the game would not recognize that Episode 1 had already been completed when trying to start Episode 2
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur after finishing Episode 1 when trying to immediately start Episode 2
- Fixed some sound issues
Known issues
- Only 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio resolutions (720, 1080 and 1440) are supported at this time. Other resolutions while still playable are not optimal
- In rare cases, players can experience a progression issue in Episode 2 playing as Donnie, looking for the schematics. We are working on a fix, if you encounter the issue, relaunch the title and resume at save point
- As a reminder, the minimum disk space requirements is still 6 GB
