I've been hard at work on making more updates to Tower of Eglathia. The game is more immersive now, with torches lining the dungeon walls, paintings hung by the demon himself, and water tiles that I will eventually populate with the occasional sea creature. Torches and water are animated.
Combat is also animated. The player will lunge at enemies they attack and enemies attacking in melee range will do the same. This gives the game a more immersive feel.
All windows forms popups are gone and the game is getting close to having a build ready for Linux and Mac.
I've also been updating how levels are generated, giving the game a more true rogue-like feel without the predictable levels that I had in the list to be generated from. The game is truly procedural now.
There's a couple other surprises that I hope you'll find enjoyable.
Enjoy!
