Hey everyone,
We are going to be changing the map theme to a more forest / woodland / rolling hills theme instead of a desert theme. There will still be elements of the map that are desert themed but that will only be 10-15% of the map and the rest is going to be filled with trees and have a woodland feel.
Starting today you will receive a message when joining a server warning you to remove your base claims and objects from that server. We are doing this to better serve our community with the best possible experience in Aftermath.
The following servers will be removed on December 1st, 2015 and you will have to move your items off these servers:
US/EU Novice PVP server 11-26 will be removed.
US/EU PVE servers 16-42 will be removed.
Veteran PVP servers are unchanged.
Legendary servers are unchanged.
Why do we need you to remove your bases?
The update to the map is based on feedback that we've received from players. This means that your base may be directly in the middle of a tree, rock or terrain change. The second reason is because we are doing a server consolidation which means some servers will be removed.
What does this mean for me as a player?
1. Starting today you will receive a 100% return when dismantling base objects meaning you can easily dismantle your base and get all resources back that you put into it.
2. You have from now until November 30th to remove your bases from the map or risk losing it all.
3. December 1st is the patch, if you don't get your base moved by then, you are out of luck and support will not help you.
