Officially announcing the upcoming support for Steamworks Multiplayer for BlastZone 2!
Over the last few weeks, a lot of work has been put into the upcoming Steamworks Multiplayer support. While BlastZone 2 already supports online multiplayer through direct IP, Steamworks will make it much easier to find your friends and play with them online. Things are shaping up nicely so far, and performance and latency is expected to be very good in the final release.
Since most shooters on Steam don't support online multiplayer at all, it is very important for us to get this right. This really sets BlastZone 2 apart from the competition. The plan is to roll out a public beta in the coming weeks, so watch for more announcements regarding that!
