A few BlastZone 2 updates released up to v1.22.3.2

Over the last week and a half, 3 new updates have been released for BlastZone 2. These are mainly sound system fixes and tweaks along with some gameplay changes detailed below:

v1.22.3.1

  • Fixed some rare or system-specific crash issues related to the sound system
  • Fixed a music playback stopping issue for systems that are very slow or have a single-core cpu
  • Increased the music playback buffers to 3 to prevent music hitching on slower systems
  • Upgraded to the latest libVorbis library; includes fixes and improvements to music playback
  • Other general sound system tweaks and robustness improvements

v1.22.3.1a

  • Lengthened the last enemy barrage of Mission Area 4
  • Added sonic boom sounds when activating afterburners in Mission Area 2

v1.22.3.2

  • Improved sound system error handling; fixes some misc. sound related issues

As a side note, I've recently added a new launch option to the game to see the latest release notes for any update. Sometimes I don't make separate announcements for smaller updates, so this launch option will be the place to go if you download an update and don't know what has changed. Hope this helps!

To make sure you have the latest update, start the game and check the lower left corner for "v1.22.3.2" or above. Don't forget to give your feedback in the forums. Enjoy!
