LETTER FROM THE CEO

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has thus far supported us by being part of the Early Access on STEAM. We have come an immensely long way from our Early Access launch exactly five months ago. I want to extend a special thought of thankfulness to the STEAM community, not only for voting us into Greenlight in an overwhelming way, but also for consistently giving us quality feedback through the development phases.

Today we have for the first time ever reset everything for all managers! All cars, parts, experience and cash is ... gone. Welcome to an even playing field for new and veteran managers alike. So, if you're not yet racing with us, today is a good day to get into the action and see if you can rise the flag of your country onto the leaderboards.

We have now also entered the final lap, with launch just weeks away! In this final stage a lot of our development processes are being wrapped up and go into the game as tangible content at a higher rate than ever before.

There has been several hurdles and bumps in the road, with incidents of unstable network code, crashing servers and more. Today most of these are in the rear-view mirror, though we still have improvements to do. Since Early Access started, our biggest updates have been:

  • Two new cars, for a total of four
  • Two new tracks, for a total of six
  • Achievement system with rewards
  • Tutorial
  • Weather system
  • Matchmaking
  • Improved AI drivers
  • Improved Network Code (this was... really needed, and is still being improved)

- ... and most importantly too many fixes and optimizations to list

(If you would like to see what is in the pipeline between now and launch, please check out our latest pinned Game Director's update on our Community Pages on STEAM.)

The true magic of Trackday Manager will be unleashed once we hit launch. At this point we will have new game modes which introduce Cups and Daily Hill Climb races to our competitive global community. In addition, managers will have the option of setting up Custom races, so you can make any competition or league you like.

Lastly I want to thank our friends from Re-roll Entertainment who are giving our six-man production team invaluable assistance in this final stretch.

See you where the air smells of burnt rubber!
