Calling All Speedrunners!
This game was designed for you. To celebrate the release of version 2.0, you're invited to complete story mode as fast as you can for a big ol' payout of $500 through Paypal!
These are the main points of the rules, but click this Google Doc link for the complete overview:
Entry does not require any submission fees.
Complete story mode on any difficulty.
Submit your Instagram username on the end screen to officially enter the contest.
Get the fastest playthrough time before October 1st, 2026. This is when the event officially ends.
It's unlikely, but in the event of an exact tie, the quantity of catnip will be the tiebreaker.
In the even more unlikely event of a tie with the catnip count, players will split the payout.
Winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the contest’s end.
General participant requirements:
Access to your own Instagram account so that we can contact you for next steps.
If receiving messages on your account is disabled, you must message @kurtvinci or aqueous_games within two weeks after the contest's end. Don't trust any messages from any other usernames.
If the winner does not respond two weeks after being contacted, the next eligible runner-up becomes the new winner. (This also pertains to those with a private account who must be the one to contact us, due to inability to receive messages).
The player or player’s legal guardian must have an active PayPal account. This is necessary for claiming your prize.
