Hello everyone!
Very excited to bring this patch to you all. This week, we're introducing one of the most requested features since Day 1 of Early Access - Re-Rolls!
Rerolling Relics
You can now Re-Roll your available Relic or Dice choices to try your luck once more at building out the strategy you're aiming for.
We experimented with a lot of different forms for the Re-Rolls - Health Costs, Relic Costs, unlimited, etc. We landed on one we think really brings another decision and strategy layer to the game. You have 3 to use whenever you please, but be careful, they don't restock! Perhaps there will be ways to replenish your Re-Roll chances in the future... but for now, it's a sacred resource!
Less Class Restrictions
We wanted to pair this with another change we've listened to and agree with. When Dice With Death was in it's most nascent stages, we designed it with the idea that most characters would largely use their own pool of Relics and Dice.
This restriction lessened over time as the game took on it's true identity, and it's time to finally cast off the remains of the original design. This is experimental, and there will still be the occasional Relic or Dice limited to certain Characters, but for now - far more Relics are available to any character, instead of being locked to one.

Glimmal Ring on the Healer or Sanguine Dice & Pomander on the Soldier to go with your Heart Locket? Go for it!
This was the last major feature we were aiming for prior to the release of our third playable character, The Witch. She plays a way that is incomparable to our current two characters, so is a lot of work! We're aiming to have her playable within the month, so watch this space. I think you'll all really enjoy her as well as some of the wild designs coming up for future classes. Believe me when we say the Healer & the Soldier are simply the baseline.
Only two balance changes this time - just updating existing Dice to better reflect their power intent:
Sanguine Dice is now a Common
Dice of Many Faces is now a Legendary
Thank you so much for all of your support, as always your bug reports & reviews are invaluable to us.
Cheers,
Connagh & Joel
