Hi everyone!
It's been about 10 days since the release of the free and large Anniversary Update of Office Rivals. Lots of work has been put into adding extra details, content and storylines, mostly based on your feedback. Although it's been a year since Office Rivals was released on Steam, it was far from abandoned.
Sadly since the update, it has only received one review... a single-word review ("TRASH") from a thumbs-down troll account with less than 20 minutes of playtime, clearly never intending to enjoy it.

Thus, if you enjoyed Office Rivals, we hope that you kindly leave us a review to express the things that you've liked.
And not only the positives, but the negatives, too. Please don't hesitate to comment on the game's weaknesses, as well! (but be gentle with us ːsteamhappyː)
For a small VN, your review is very impactful. If Office Rivals achieves 50 reviews, we could let the Steam algorithm know that this VN is a genuine work enjoyed genuine players. This allows Office Rivals to be seen as its own unique thing, and not lumped together with the many slops that have taken over Steam.
In the age of generative AI and quick money-grab adult games, we stay faithful to hand-drawn human work, in a genre that's not well represented (grounded slice-of-life romance).
Staying faithful to human art, it would mean my work is created like this:

And for future works as well, like this:

And NOT like this:

I will avoid spoiling you with Office Rivals work (you would be horrified if I included art examples in which Nanako and her colleagues have their heads, arms and faces taken apart ːsteamfacepalmː), so here are examples from my current work!
With full human creative choices, every character's unique details are created with care, including the way the dress, and their body poses:

These meticulous details take days and weeks to create (for Office Rivals and my other works). All the characters are drawn to a degree of details, and a long process starting from basic sketches, to lineart of specific body parts, and then colours:

As you can see above, characters are designed to be sexy and stylish and sometimes slightly exaggeratted, but still somewhat grounded to semi-realism. Fat rolls, tummy fat, hips curves, consistent breast shapes (while wearing outfit and while nude) are the details I pay attention to.
Each component is drawn with details and care:

And all of the scenes and artwork you're seeing can be taken apart! Yes, including the eyeballs! ːsteamhappyː

The scenes, locations and character sprites take weeks and weeks to create. It's tiring, but it's worth it!
So, if you enjoyed Office Rivals, please leave us a review~
I'd like to believe that there exist players who genuinely want to see creators like myself do well! And we need all the encouragement and feedback we can!
Your reviews are helpful for us, and also helpful for Steam's algorithm. If we made you a fan of our current and future work, we're delighted and personally, I take it as a fuel to improve!
