Today I'd like to announce an upcoming Anniversary update to Office Rivals!
Throughout the year since release, you voiced your feedback, and I hear them!
I appreciate the kind words, encouragements and reviews that expressed what you loved about the VN. As equally, I also appreciate your feedback which addressed what needs to be improved.
Office Rivals was released as a completed project, and although I never really planned for this big update, it just came to be. Who doesn't love completely free and additional contents, right? Do take note that the update does not make changes to the plot. It only adds extra scenes to support the existing plot. However, you do need to reload a save at the beginning of Chapter 5.
Story contents
One particularly important feedback was the pace of Chapter 5. As the dev, we easily get blinded by our familiarity with the story, and often times we are focused very much on the technical side of things (animations, art, etc). But after some consideration, I realized that Chapter 5 do need some improvements.
Thus, here are some additional story contents in the Anniversary update:
A new proposal scene
MC's and Nanako's short vacation before their wedding
Nanako's resolution with her parents
A wedding party scene
Spicy contents
Although the pregnancy kink was originally never intended to be as big as it is, I have discovered that it's such a strong enforcement to Nanako's and MC's love story. The subtext of this kink has always been: "A man and woman love each other, and she lets him do things to her, while he willingly takes responsibility". Thus, there are additional scenes that cater to these kinks:
Impregnation sex
Lactation
Pregnant sex
Breasts transformation (due to pregnancy)
Other changes:
Apparently MC's early attitude has turned a number of players off. Although the initially bad attitude was an intended design (it's to show how much he changed from a horrible person to a better person in the latter chapters), I realized it's no good if it deters player's enjoyment in Chapter 1.
That particular scene at the beach: There is now an option to tell that specific person to go away.

Expected release:
The update is expected to be released within 7-10 days (it's been extended for better polish and more scenes), after adding some polish and fixes to the artwork and animations.
