Multiplayer Early Access Coming Soon!!!!

Hey guys!
Great news, I've officialy started working on multiplayer for the game! It's going quite well so far, I've managed to get a very basic test scene running that will autoconnect to a master server, I can drive the car I set up around with ease and with only a tad bit of jitter/lag, some more tinkering with the serialization scripts should do the trick. So, in order to anticipate what's next for the alpha version of Corona MotorSport Multiplayer, please read below.

The Multiplayer Testing Phase

As of now, the hosting solution I am using to test multiplayer functionality is Photon Unity Networking, their free plan allows 20 concurent users (CCU), which is plenty for the first phase of testing (would probably last 3-4 weeks). During the first phase, the multiplayer will be open to anyone with a copy of the game to access, however, only 20 users (including myself) would be able to play at one time, so play sessions would be limited to approximately 30 minutes per person with unlimited reconnections. So you could play for 30 minutes, the server would automatically kick you after 30 minutes to allow others to try it out, but if there's room, you are welcome to rejoin.

So during the first 3-4 weeks of multiplayer, there would be one trackday server (choose a car, and just drive around with other people) with a limit of 20 people. After working out all the bugs, I'll upgrade to 100CCU, which would allow 5 servers with up to 20 people each. I'll keep going and adding more user capicity based on demand.

Dedicated server hosting by third parties (that's you guys!) would also be available in the future as well as LAN multiplayer and split screen multiplayer.

Thank you for your continued support!
