RIOT - Civil Unrest was unveiled to the general public at the EGX show in Birmingham, England on September 24-27 2015. The show was attended by over 75,000 visitors and RIOT was certainly an anticipated title.
Showing across four screens, visitors were able to get a flavour of the game controlling either the Riot Police or the Protesters. Ivan Venturi, the title's producer was on hand to answer questions and explain the game's structure. Players will have to complete the four campaign scenarios using both factions in order to unlock bonus locations.
While some of the game's features were not implemented, visitors were able to get actual hands on game-time with RIOT allowing them to get a real flavour of the title. Back in Italy, RIOT - Civil Unrest's creator, Leonard Menchiari, and the team are working hard to complete the game. In the meantime, here's a taster of what visitors to EGX played...
