Happy new year, and welcome to the first patch of 2016.
NEW MECH: WARHAMMER
With a long and storied past, and considered one of the most iconic ‘Mechs of the BattleTech franchise, we are extremely proud to make the Warhammer Inner Sphere Heavy ‘Mech our first ‘Mech release of the year. Weighing in at 75 tons and boasting an excellent degree of maneuverability and firepower, it’s destined to be a favorite in both Quick Play and Faction Play. Until their release date for MC and C-Bill purchase in-game, the Warhammer’s can only be acquired from the web store. You can also pick up the ‘Black Widow’ Hero Warhammer variant, featuring a custom Pattern and a permanent 30% C-Bill boost!
Warhammer In-Game Purchase Release Dates:
• Release date for MC: April 5th 2016
• Release date for C-Bills: May 3rd 2016
NEW MAP: POLAR HIGHLANDS
This patch also features the addition of Polar Highlands, a brand new map for Quick Play. Polar Highlands is a cold map with excellent sightlines and plenty of sunken travel lanes. Lances will benefit from staying together and using the natural trenches to maneuver within striking distance.
