Hi everyone,
It has been far too long since our last update. If you’re wondering why, it’s because we’ve been hard at work incorporating all of the feedback from our alpha run into a new and improved Games of Glory. Game development takes time, and we want to be sure and get things right this time around. We know you’re busy too, so here’s a quick-and-dirty FAQ.
Is the game still in development?
YES!
What has Lightbulb Crew been up to?
Creating, coding, playing, bugtesting, fixing, re-working, living, breathing, and dreaming Games of Glory! With the occasional breaks for developer fuel (aka kebabs and pizza).
What are you changing in the game?
- We can’t reveal everything just yet, *but* here are just a few of the new things to look forward to!
- Major changes to the control scheme
- All-new weapons system
- Increased game speed
- New characters
- Graphical overhaul including -- Upgraded to Unity 5 for much better graphics -- Retexturing of all existing characters -- Redesigned maps -- All new user interface (ingame + out of game)
Will I see new material if I launch my game right now?
No! The current, public version has not been updated in a long time. Read on to find out about our closed beta program.
How can I test the new Games of Glory?
We have already had some limited participation within the community. If you would like to be a part of our testing program please sign up here.
If you are based in France and would be interested in coming to our Paris offices to test the game a shoot us an email at [email protected]
Where can I get updates about the game?
Make sure you are a part of our mailing list by signing up here, and check back on Steam, our webpage, or our social media in the coming months for additional news.
Finally, on behalf of the whole Crew thank you to everyone in our community, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!
Sincerely,
The Lightbulb Crew team
