Hello, this is the Freestyle2 Operations Team.
First, we would like to thank all players who continue to love and support
Freestyle2.
Over the past year, we have been running the Solo Queue auto-matchmaking
system to expand the player pool and improve matchmaking efficiency.
While this system provided faster matchmaking, it also created challenges
such as reduced match quality and decreased satisfaction among intermediate
and advanced players.
We have continuously reviewed these issues through surveys, community
feedback, and internal data analysis.
Your feedback has always been a valuable reference for us.
As a result, we have decided to separate the Pro and Amateur channels
once again:
1. Amateur Channel
→ Maintains Solo Queue auto-matchmaking for beginner and casual players
→ Provides a fast and accessible gameplay environment without burden
2. Pro Channel
→ Enables room creation and team-based matchmaking for experienced players
→ Offers higher-quality matches and greater strategic depth
This change is based on our past year of experience, player feedback, and
in-depth matchmaking analysis. It represents an adjustment to provide a
better gameplay environment.
The changes are scheduled to be applied during the September 3 (Wed)
maintenance. If there are any changes to the schedule, we will provide
additional announcements.
We will continue listening to our players’ voices, striving to provide an
enjoyable, fair, and immersive gameplay experience.
