The direction of 10YA- The players view

As some of you may have read on this forum I am indeed open to suggestions regarding the development of 10 Years After and now that things are starting to fall into place I wondered the direction the players wanted the game to go in.

I want all players to feel as though they can help me make this a game they can enjoy, whether with small ideas and input to large ideas. I have the basic setting but can enhance upon whichever features and themes the fans enjoy.

Some ideas have surfaced that although not implemented yet are solid ideas, I've heard menton of pets, then followers, a ledge-grab mechanic to climb and even mention of a Lovecraftian themed doomsday cult (Tasteful of course) and possibly the odd abomination. The limitations lie in the engine but I assure you by release I will make the most of Unity.

So I wonder, we have many interesting well known 'tropes' in the survival genre, ranging from the standard zombie affair to radioactive mutants, blowouts and anomalies to teleporting hell demons, cannibals, cults, aliens, eldritch abominations and cosmic gods the list goes on so where would you like us to fit in all of this? We have many ideas but from day one I've always wanted to make a fan focussed game so, give me your best ideas and lets see what we can come up with :)

I hope you're enjoying the new patch and those of you that aren't please, tell me why I will take on board your critisisms and compliments alike. I hope to hear from you guys soon!

Stay safe out there afters.
