Hello, Cleaners. This is Hypercent, the team behind Backroom Cleaners. As a small indie studio, we are carefully reviewing the feedback received during the playtest and refining the game to make every operation more stable and enjoyable. We are also working on new entities, additional roguelike elements, balance updates, and UX improvements. Our goal is to make every operation feel more tense, immersive, and rewarding as the situation changes around your team. Thank you, as always, for your feedback. Here are the changes in this update.
Balancing
Entity ATK now increases by 7% for each node floor.
Shield recovery per node has been reduced from 100% to 20%.
Completing a node now restores 10% Health and 20% Shield.
Added tooltips for shield-related cultures.
Spitter toxic pool damage has been reduced by 65%.
Healing Canister healing per tick has been reduced from 9 + 6% of max HP to 4% of max HP.
Shield Regen has been reduced from 5 to 0, so shields no longer regenerate naturally.
Each Armadillo part other than its back is now disabled after taking cumulative damage equal to 7% of its maximum HP, up from 5%.
If any Armadillo part other than its back is disabled, it immediately enters its pattern phase.
Improvements and fixes
Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the chat window with the Esc key during level loading or transitions.
