Hello Friends!
Welcome to our first update about Dragon Lands!
The game isn't out yet, but we’re very excited to share details, screenshots, and progress with you. For this first update, I’d like to talk a bit about Dragon Lands' origins.
THE IDEA
After releasing my first game (Core Devourer), I went through months of struggling with inspiration. During that time, I threw myself into various activities like marketing research, studying of art styles that I liked, prototyping a fighting party games for my friends (which was ultimately scrapped :D), and, of course, playing other games.
I spent countless hours playing Forager, Outpath an Nova Lands! Then I've approched incremental games like Gnorp, To The Core and Nodebuster.
Through it all, my thoughts kept circling back to creating an idle incremental game, that could offer a similarly engaging experience.

CONCEPT
I had two main goals:
- To create a relaxing game with simple yet deep mechanics and game systems. In other words, a chill game that can be played while watching or doing something else on a second monitor (like I often do).
- Who hasn’t dreamed of owning and collecting dragons?
With these pillars in mind, I designed the first prototypes of Dragon Lands with the help of my girlfriend (which is not forced at all :D)!

I hope you’ll enjoy the game as much as I do while developing it!
Thanks, and stay tuned for more updates :D
