Welcome to a new development update! This sprint has been focused on completing key launch systems, improving performance, expanding our analytics tools, and continuing to grow the game's visual content. Here's a summary of everything we've been working on.
🛒 Store and Monetization
🏪 In-Game Store Almost Ready
The integrated store is now fully connected to live backend data.
Implemented features include:
Battle Pass offers
Currency packs
Store bundles
Real-time dynamic offer configuration
The core store functionality is now complete and has entered its final polishing phase.
⚙️ Performance, Stability, and Analytics
🚀 Performance Improvements
We continue optimizing gameplay systems to improve the overall experience.
This sprint brought significant performance improvements in situations involving:
Large numbers of active turrets
Combat scenarios with many enemies and simultaneous effects
We have also started working on additional optimizations specifically for mobile devices.
📱 Mobile Development Tools
We have expanded our workflow for mobile platforms with:
Device simulation tools
Faster testing environments
A more efficient iteration process
This allows us to develop and test content much faster across multiple platforms.
👥 Multiplayer Improvements
New notifications have been added to inform players when someone joins a match or session.
This improves social interaction and makes the multiplayer experience clearer for everyone involved.
📊 Advanced Player Analytics
We have implemented new analytics systems that help us better understand how players interact with the game.
We can now track:
Match completion rates
Player retention
Win and loss outcomes
Match abandonment
Participation in bot matches
Player progression throughout the game
This data will help us identify areas for improvement and make better design decisions.
We have also added support for quick in-client surveys.
Players will be able to share their feedback directly from the game, allowing us to gather opinions quickly and validate new features more effectively.
🧠 Characters, Skins, and Cosmetics
🎨 New Skins in Development
We continue expanding customization options with new cosmetics.
We are currently working on:
Maya
Kathy
Jaeger Skin 3
Korin Skin 3
Bebbo Skin 3
Several of these skins are already integrated into the game and are currently receiving final polish.
😊 Facial Animation Improvements
We have expanded our facial rigging and expression systems.
Characters now feature:
More detailed facial movements
Better expressions
More personality in presentation and selection screens
🎁 Gacha and Cosmetic Presentation
We continue improving the visual presentation of rewards and cosmetics, including:
Gacha opening animations
Cosmetic reward presentations
Character showcase sequences
✨ Visual Technology Improvements
🖥 New Screen and Monitor Shader
We have developed a new shader technology for screens and monitors within the game.
This system allows us to:
Display pixel art content
Integrate animated elements
Add visual effects such as glitches and screen distortions
This opens up new possibilities for cosmetics, environmental storytelling, and visual presentation.
🎨 New Marketing Render Pipeline
We have also improved our character rendering tools.
The art team can now create higher-quality promotional images more quickly and efficiently.
These improvements help maintain stronger visual consistency between:
In-game character models
Promotional materials
Store pages and marketing campaigns
🌍 Level Design and Environments
🗺 New Biomes and Content Planning
We have started exploring and planning the game's next biome.
The first stages include:
Enemy concepts
Environmental themes
New level mechanics
🏗 Environment Visual Polish
We have also carried out a major visual improvement pass on existing levels.
Highlights include:
Environment optimization
Improvements to props and decorative elements
New rock formations
Updated vegetation and trees
Greater visual consistency across levels
Planet 1 has received a complete polish pass using our latest environment creation workflow.
🚪 Level Navigation Improvements
Finally, we have developed new concepts for level exits and environmental structures.
These changes are designed to:
Improve level readability
Help players navigate more easily
Make level exploration more intuitive
