🎄 Raiders Rise – Final Update of the Year!
It’s the last update of 2025!
We closed out the year with a Christmas event for the team and a special on-site play session + stream with the community (thank you to everyone who joined ❤️) But the work didn’t stop there, here’s what we’ve been building behind the scenes.
🧭 Raiders Screen Improvements
The Raiders Screen now clearly shows which Raiders you have unlocked and which are still waiting to be claimed. You can still preview locked Raiders too such as skins, upgrades and all so you know exactly who you’re working toward.
🛒 Shop & Emotes
We’ve put together a first mock-up of the in-game shop and added a set of fun emotes inspired by our Raiders, plus some general ones to flex in-game.
⚔️ Raider Updates & Balance Tweaks
We’ve been refining abilities and upgrades across the roster:
Atabusk can now steal coins with a new upgrade.
Nikky’s passive now triggers an explosion around him when he’s in danger (instead of away from him) for clearer readability.
Kathy’s ultimate now silences enemies (stronger than dazzle), with an upgrade that keeps the silence active even after they leave the area.
Maya can turn invisible while dashing, gain energy while invisible, and her bombs are now hidden from the enemy team when planted.
Snowbird gains a new upgrade where around every 10th bullet he’ll freeze monsters. His ultimate now slows and eventually freezes players, with an upgrade that keeps them partially frozen even after exiting the area of effect.
Sky’s new skill now provides energy to nearby allies.
Jak’s passive has been updated into a shield for clearer gameplay feedback.
🧬 Raiders & Skins Progress
Concepts have given some love to the next round of skin 2s for Lence, Zen and Vode
The 3D team have progressed very nicely on more skins:
Vode Hebi Clan Skin
Kathy Fairytale skin
Jak Flower Power skin
Finally the Animators continue to bring our Raiders to life and we can’t wait for you to try them!
Polished animations for Zen, Vode, Jaeger, and Lence base models
Lence, Blayze, and Bebbo Skin 1 models are now rigged and looking great
🪐 Planet 2 Updates
Planet 2 is getting a lot of love with new dressing and colliders. We’ve also removed Super Chests and replaced them with new side missions to add more collaboration!
