Dimmdrive has had it's first update on Steam!
Firstly, I want to thank everybody who has purchased Dimmdrive. You've posted some amazing feedback, both on bug reports, feature requests, and both positive and constructive negative feedback. I'm extremely thankful that you have taken the time to let me know what you think of the Dimmdrive software!
Based on your feedback, I've fixed a lot of bugs, tweaked some settings, and modified some internal things on how Dimmdrive works and I'm excited to release to you this update!
Patch Notes:
- Fix added to stop the "In-App Dimmdrive" from showing up as the game you are playing. After running Dimmdrive for an initial ~5 minutes (required by Steam/Valve to write a review), Dimmdrive will automatically hide itself from the "In-App XYZ" setting. This will enable you to play any game and all your friends will see that specific game, instead of Dimmdrive, that you're playing! Note: Because you are no longer "In-App Dimmdrive" you will not accrue "Time Played" while using Dimmdrive and will always hover around 0.2 - 0.4 hours or so. This applies to all new customers after this update occurs.
- You can now search for your Steam games in Dimmdrive and easily make changes/configs/activate them!
- Multiple fixes have been put in place for users who experience issues installing Dimmdrive for the first time.
- A fix has been added for users who are having difficulties creating the Dimmdrive ramdisk initially.
- An option to disable the "Message of the Day" window when first starting up Dimmdrive was added.
- A fix was added for the very small amount of Steam users who infrequently may see a "Login to Dimmdrive" box despite having a Steam license
- The first initial achievement for Dimmdrive has been activated. The other achievements will be activated pending a few more updates.
- Fixed an issue where some Steam users with multiple Steam install directories were not seeing all Steam games. Also added additional debug logfile settings for this.

Dimmdrive is an application that is continually being updated. Your feedback is especially important and I really am thankful for every bit of feedback we receive.
