Hello everyone!
We are CrazyDog Studio, the team behind After Long Night—an indie RTS that blends zombie apocalypse, sandbox survival, and base building.
Good News!
After Long Night is set to launch on September 19!
🧟♂️ Building an Army of Survivors
When endless waves of zombies flood the ruined city, how can we defend the last safe shelters?
Simple—we build a survivor army!
By constructing Bullet Workshops and Gun Workshops, you can produce weapons and ammo. Send them to the barracks, assign instructors, and survivors will graduate into professional soldiers:
● Learn flamethrowers → become Flamethrower Troopers
● Learn RPGs → transform into the iconic twin-tailed RPG angel 🎀💥
🏥 Logistics & Support Matter Too
Frontline soldiers are crucial, but logistics and medical support are just as important.
● Build an Infirmary to train medical staff
● Choose between nurses (single-target healing) or doctors (group healing)
Because honestly… no soldier can resist that kind of encouragement. 😉
🚙 Combat Vehicles & Upgrades
Want more firepower? Head to the Vehicle Factory to create powerful combat vehicles:
● Sidecar Motorcycle: shoot while speeding through the streets
● Buzzsaw Car: fires massive spinning saw blades, instantly making zombies “lose their heads”
At the Equipment Workshop, you can further upgrade vehicles with:
● Extra fuel tanks & zombie wheels for endurance
● Onboard miniguns & flamethrowers for firepower
● The ultimate Pipe Organ mod for tanks, unleashing saturation bombing across a huge area
🏰 For the Base Defenders
Some players told us they prefer defending the base rather than pushing outward, so we added more defensive structures:
● Sandbag Walls and Iron Walls to block zombies (with scaffolding so defenders can fire back)
● Machine Gun Turrets and Heavy Cannons for stronger firepower (but beware—they can’t target zombies up close)
● And the mighty VX Rocket, a “Peacebringer” weapon capable of annihilating massive hordes in one strike
