Hey there, card sharks!
The big day has arrived. After a solid stretch in Early Access, Capote is officially leaving that phase behind and launching its 1.0 version! And before anything else, we need to stop the table for just a minute to say thank you. Seriously. A huge thank you to every single one of you who played since the earliest versions, tested every update, sent feedback (positive or negative, it all mattered), followed Luski's social media, and even found time to suggest improvements along the way. This game is as much yours as it is ours 🥂
Just to recap some of what's arrived since the Early Access launch:
New characters showed up to sit at the table (and, sooner or later, take a tumble too)
Themed bars for Halloween, Christmas, Carnival, and the World Cup, each with its own decorations and special vibe
A new solo mode: Betejack, for whenever you're in the mood for a little roguelike on your own
Plenty of gameplay improvements along the way, almost all based on your feedback
Bundles featuring excellent games from our partners
But the party doesn't stop there. Time to tell you everything coming with 1.0:
🃏 Truco: yes, finally. Play in classic style, in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 matches
🏖️ A new beach bar, to change up the scenery for your matches
🎱 A pool minigame, to play while you wait for everyone to join the lobby
🎵 YouTube integration, so you can play your own soundtrack during matches
🔧 Several bug fixes and gameplay improvements
Grab a chair, call your friends, and come celebrate with us. Here's to many tables, many laughs, and, of course, many tumbles.
See you at the bar! 🍻🎉
