Some of you may know WeiWei The Weary Wanderer as your friendly NPC, happy to greet you and wave at a moment’s notice. Well, the holidays are upon us and WeiWei decided to take up a part-time position as a tax collector.
With the latest patch, WeiWei has taken it upon himself to tax resources from players that have taken advantage of a certain dupe glitch. Players who haven’t taken advantage of this glitch should not worry. WeiWei is a man of the people and has core values.
Basically, if you have taken advantage of the duplicate resource glitch, you may log in after the most recent update and notice your resources have dropped significantly. I know it’s a bummer, but WeiWei had the difficult decision of deciding how to penalize cheaters. WeiWei didn’t want to just go and delete your characters for cheating, WeiWei believe this is a very fair way of handling this situation.
A full breakdown of resources confiscated by WeiWei is below:
US East Total: 64,007,565
US East PVE: 14,179,977
US Central Total: 16,118,065
US Central PVE: 7,335,446
Asia Total: 22,531,442
Once again, if you have a reasonable amount of resources, you should not be affected. Only players with an obviously duped amount of resources should be affected.
In the future, please hold back from completely abusing any uncovered glitches. We hope WeiWei won’t have to return to the tax life.
