Hello Everyone,
We just want to make a quick announcement about community guidelines and rules. From now on, we will be following the rules & guidelines for Steam forums more vigorously. We want the GRAV community to be a place where players (and interested players) go to share ideas, suggestions and help each other in a constructive and healthy atmosphere.
Lately there have been many posts that have been less than helpful, polite, or constructive. To be clear; It’s fine to disagree with us, hate on the game, debate choices we make etc., but combative, needlessly negative or harassing posts are not going to be tolerated. Below are some examples of what we want to correct and ways that we will handle this kind of behavior:
- If members get combative/name calling with each other or with us: 1 month ban from forums and block from chat.
- If members swear at others or us: permanent ban
- If members repeatedly ask the same question despite having been given an answer: warning, then ban.
The types of behavior found above don’t help anyone and it makes it hard for people with legitimate concerns/questions to get through the noise.
Also, we will be taking steps to better communicate with all of you, not only on the Steam forums, but also our Facebook, Twitter and recently re-designed Subreddit.
We hope you won’t view this post as an affront. We are very grateful to have a passionate community. Sometimes we just need to remind everyone that we are working on a constantly improving Early Access game and we want to make sure everyone in the community has an opportunity to contribute.
