Crimson Desert Hits 3 Million Copies Sold and Pearl Abyss Isn’t Done Yet

After a rocky release, Crimson Desert has seen a resurgence in enjoyment as players get into the meat of the game.

When Crimson Desert first hit the shelves, it was overflowing with both good and bad reviews on its Steam page. Now, however, the reviews are sitting at very positive, a hallmark achievement for any game on Steam. In fact, Crimson Desert has sold three million copies worldwide in only six days since its initial release. The developers at Pearl Abyss have already stated on a February earnings conference call that they plan to continue working on the game and are ready to add quality-of-life improvements and even potential DLC.
