Version Description
The main tasks of this version are framework system design and prototype function development.
Development focus
Build a basic framework to build a basic game world, which can be developed and tested with various system modules.
Due to the upgrade from 2D game to 3D in the later stage of development, many functions based on 2D game need to be reconstructed. Some functions, such as core gameplay modules such as community module and construction module, need to be rebuilt due to workload problems. [After upgrading to 3D, the development focus has shifted from core module development to 3D game basic module. For example, the camera (third person, first person), character control, etc.), postponed to the next version of the reconstruction and development.
There was no extensive testing, and only bugs that significantly affected the game were addressed. Some small functions and bugs, such as UI data not refreshed in time, data layer interaction missing, etc. will be solved in the development test of subsequent versions. Avoid greatly slowing down development due to testing and excessive attention to side detail.
Next version development plan
Development focus
Core gameplay development
Includes the following system modules:
1. Limited Open Worlds
The expected development effect here is that the world has designed the actual installation of items and props, and can be linked with the data of the production system. Second, there are designed NPCS that can talk, trade, quests, give gifts (increase favorability), and recruit.
2. Free construction
1) It can build formed buildings (such as beds and worktables), and the walls and floors can be connected, adsorbed and rotated.
2) Allow community NPCS to work
3. Attacks and Accidents
1) A variety of attacks, base attacks, adventure encountered sudden enemy attacks
2) Design accidents and adventures with log system.
4. (Optional) Growable NPCS
1) NPCS generated by random algorithms, and have specific attributes such as personality and talent
2) Have a unique growth process according to their own circumstances
3) NPCS have rich interactive behaviors
