Updates
The Aim Gear is now the default aiming mode (left-right adjusts directions, up-down adjusts power). The tutorials have been updated to reflect this.
Aim mode is remembered between play sessions.
Dynamic Sensitivity has been replaced with the Aim Clamp (default key: Space), allowing you to manually dial the sensitivity for the current shot. Moving the cursor while the clamp is up will adjust it (0 = complete freedom, 100 = near total lock-down)
Added mouse & gamepad sensitivity sliders in the Input options
Added audio option for "Clicky Aim Gear" so you can aim in silence
Reduced default music volume
New players are no longer asked if they want to skip the tutorial
Bug Fixes
"Mega Breakshot!!" (which is awarded for breaking an enemy with 3 or more HP in one move) will no longer proc on enemies whose HP is 2 out of 3.
Commentary
I spent a day trying to make dynamic aim sensitivity work, but it was too obfuscated and the situations too ambiguous for a one-size-fits-all solution, so it's manual now. I hope to make a tutorial stage explaining how it works in the next patch.
And speaking of tutorials: as much as it pains me to remove the option to skip it, I watched a new player say No to the tutorial and then proceed to have the worst unguided introduction to the game. Who would have thought that if I gave the choice between survival training or wilderness that someone might choose wrong?
