Our calculations were correct after all, a stable timeline really does exist. Which means the Chronocracy Demo has just materialized in your Steam Library. And it's finally time to find out what kind of Chronocrat you'll become!
But before you dive into the twists and turns of time, take a look at our brand-new trailer:
Here's a quick look at what awaits you:
- 5 replayable missions, each encouraging you to experiment with new strategies,
- 2 planets, each with unique biomes, neighbors, and challenges,
- 3 technological eras to lead your tribe through,
- 1 playable race of adorable Niblets.
You'll also get access to all of Chronocracy's core mechanics:
- Gather 20 different resources, from ordinary wood to the mysterious metamaterial, both above and below ground,
- Build and expand your settlement while unlocking new technologies,
- Train warriors, deal with troublesome neighbors, and defend your people against alien invaders,
- And much more.
The resources and metamaterial you collect during your expeditions will grant access to the Time Hub — a place that exists outside the flow of history itself. There, you'll build your own Chrono City, where every new structure provides permanent bonuses for future expeditions. By breaking the seals on the Time Forge, you'll unlock new buildings, upgrades, and even more ways to shape your strategy.
And don't worry — we won't leave you stranded at the crossroads of time! An experienced time traveler (complete with beard, crook, and a very large-headed dog) will guide your first steps. Follow the expert's advice, or forge ahead completely on your own peril!
