This is pretty frequently asked question so it's deserve the separate post.
And the answer is no.
But why?
From the one side, a mods can provide a lot of funny content even if developers of the game don't work on it anymore.
But from the other side, we're not really like the quality of most mods. Or mod just didn't fit the game style, flying pony in the space, for example. Of course you can just not install it but there is begins problem with the multiplayer compatibility.
Another problem, most mods it is something visual, 3d models or textures, the good gameplay mod is much rare thing, but not this is a problem.
The problem is that almost all gameplay mods is so obvious so we just cannot understand why developers of the game didn't made this feature and don't put it in the game by default?
Developers of the mods will spend a much more time to figure out with the engine when the developers, who is familiar with their game, can create it a lot more faster and more quality.
So, instead of mods support, we want to implement all cool requested features so we will be sure in quality and compatibility with the other game features.
