Hi everyone, welcome to the new developer diary. In this issue I will share new details, problems and plans about my game.
The main problem.
I really like the simulation genre. Interesting and addictive games are released in this genre.
And with my game I would like to bring something interesting to this genre too. My game is about managing a nightclub and I want the player to feel like the manager of the club, its creator and owner. Not just some handyman who inherited a club in the suburbs and now the player has to improve it. I want to do something more directed towards the creation of something of its own and management of resources, personnel and finances.
At the very beginning of development I had already made one of the most important decisions, to make the game in low poly style. To make stylized graphics, which will not be similar to other projects in this genre. So now I want to make a second important decision, to give the project a second life.
Further development.
I wondered why game development was going so hard. At that moment I realized that I was doing the wrong thing, trying to do everything according to some formula that I didn't like.
So now, based on the current game I will be making multiple edits to the gameplay and generally reworking some aspects of the game.
The game is still alive and I'll still be sharing development news. I'm still working alone and I apologize for any delays and moments in the middle of development.
Thank you for following the project, see you in the next developer diary!
