To all of the Steam players who have tried Kingdoms CCG:
Thank you. Thank you for playing and thank you for letting us know your thoughts on the game, both positive and negative.
When we took over the game from its original developers, it was our goal to make Kingdoms CCG one of the top digital TCGs available. We focused on refining the balancing of the game and releasing new content - the hero Nomad and the new set Light Ascending.
What we have heard, loud and clear, is that there are two other issues that Steam players need us to address: Energy and Screen Resolution.
We can now announce that both of these issues are being dealt with:
Energy: As of our next release (currently slated for Feb. 18th) Energy will no longer be required for the first play through of the campaign. That's right. You will be able to work your way through the campaign unencumbered. If it takes you 1 battle or 50 to beat a battle node, you'll never pay Energy. Energy will only be used when you return to a past node to grind it for gold and for reward nodes (like the Chests).
And remember, Arena battles, Guild Wars and Tournaments do not, and never will, use Energy. There are many ways to play!
Screen Resolution: We are currently working on ensuring that the game provides the full experience for all screen resolutions. Widescreen monitors will now have the chat open at all times. Our long term goal is to rework all 800+ cards and 21 heroes to display at full resolution at 1080p. We won't stop until Kingdoms CCG looks great on every monitor.
So whether you've applauded us or slagged us, we appreciate your feedback. It's helped us focus our efforts, and we hope to hear more from you in the future.
Cheers,
The Kingdoms CCG team
