Hello everyone! Today is March 13th, the launch date for both the initial patch update and the Kurisu Makise + Level 99 DLC.
The initial patch is performance-oriented and aims to fix the issues causing unacceptably low framerates for some users. Another major fix is intended to address situations where the progress triggers in some stages would fail, preventing players from completing the stage. Several other minor issues were corrected as well.
The major issue that hasn't been corrected is the crash during the opening video, which we haven't found a solution for yet. We didn't want to hold up the release of the other fixes any longer, though. We will continue looking for a fix to this issue and include it in a later update when a fix is found.

The highly-requested Kurisu Makise character pack is also available today, which introduces Kurisu Makise as a playable character and raises the level cap to level 99. Both the base game and the DLC will have a discount this week, so if you were waiting for this update, please take a look! I hope that you will all enjoy blasting through the stages with some future gadgets.
I also have some important updates about the future updates timetable for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds.
As you may have guessed from the icons on the PBBG Steam page, achievements are currently being implemented. We're also working on arcade leaderboards. These updates will most likely be released at the end of this month. We're going to push back the updated key configuration options until April to allow for a little more testing time, but they are still on track for release.
I am also excited to confirm that Mages will implement online multiplayer. This is a complex feature that will require lots of development to get correct. Our plan is to complete this feature this summer, but there is a possibility of a public beta sooner than that if development results in a stable build faster than expected. We plan to make online multiplayer a free content update so that everyone in the community can enjoy this feature to it's fullest.
We hope that you will look forward to the continued development of PBBG!
Best wishes,
The Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds team.
