This document details a major content update for Rogue Loops. In this first document of our major update notes series, we'll be sharing new curses, new buffs, and a bunch of other new environmental elements.
New Buffs, New Curses
We are already happy with the curse and buff designs in the current version of the game and the variety of mechanics they provide, but we have added major structures that can create a more unique experience with each of your runs.
Simply put, we've strengthened the structure of these curses and buffs to support the sense of change in the environment and the idea of building your own Loop. We're happy with the state of their design, but you may see minor improvements in upcoming updates.
A GROWING WORLD
The environment designs in the current version already offered us a world design that made the game playable and accessible. As the demo release date approached, we decided that the replayability of the game did not match the idea of constantly seeing a similar environment, and we enlarged the visual world in our game by more than 10 times(Yes, more than 10 Times) and we will add more before release the full version of Rogue Loops.
OLD ENDINGS, NEW BEGINNINGS
The world of Rogue Loops continues to expand! We’re excited to remind you that the game’s demo will be released on January 6, 2025, and that we’re working on the final release. In the days following the demo’s release, we plan to share with you some visuals of the updates we’ve been working on for the final version of the game, as well as the goals we have on our roadmap for the game to be completed. Stay tuned—it’s almost done and we can’t wait to share it with you soon!
