Greetings everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing Starlight Drifters temporary retirement/hiatus from development. For some time now we have had some difficulties developing this title. Developers disappearing, personal issues, artwork delays and an abundance of other issues.
Over the past couple of months we have been going over the script and we have come to the decision that the game needs to be reworked from scratch, and made into a proper game.
To do this we have decided to remove the game from Steam for the time being, the game will technically be retired (Store page removed) no longer purchasable. But we will consider it on Hiatus while we find a new writer to rebuild the game from scratch, when the game is then ready we will relaunch it.
If however we fail to redevelop it, then in the not to distant future we will instead give everyone who owns this game a copy of a different stand alone space sci fi title in the same vein as Starlight Drifter was going to be instead.
Thank you for the support and we hope things finally come together and we see you all agaain soon with a better title for you to enjoy.
P.s. The game will remain in your steam account permanently set on the last version of Early Access, until we are able to re-launch in the future.
