Some of you might remember that last week, we had an incident with cards disappearing. After a lot of careful investigative work, we found out some of what happened: one of our updates resulted in some people losing cards and some people gaining cards. Unfortunately, a side effect of fixing this was that the people who gained cards had them taken away. But from the perspective of the average player, it looked a lot like randomly losing cards. After all, you had no way of knowing what cards were legitimately yours. We recognize that, and we understand this probably created some problems with decks.
That’s why, this weekend, we’re running an event designed to fix it.
From today (right now!) until Monday (at 12:00 EST GMT -5), every card will be able to be disintegrated at 100% value for tickets. That’s right, every card, including newly acquired ones. Here’s your chance to rebuild your decks and restructure as you need to, in order to be fair to everyone.
Please keep in mind that tickets are only valid on one login. When you log out, they disappear; which means you can’t mass disintegrate, then log out, and come back to craft. Save your cards to do it all at once!
That’s not all, though.
For months, we’ve been talking about Mystery Island, a huge patch coming to March of War classic. This patch was recently renamed to StormSiege and we are proud to announce that StormSiege will be released early next week right as our sale ends.
In honor of Classic’s new patch, we would like to offer a gem deal. For all gems you purchase for Face Off, you will get 25% of them back on March of War to use. In order to redeem these, you’ll need to email [email protected] with your character name on Face Off as well as your character on March of War and the subject line of ‘STORMSIEGE LAUNCH EVENT’, so that we can verify; Gems will be added when the StormSiege patch officially launches.
And a preview of things to come…
The Storm’s effect is far-reaching and its technology spreads throughout the world of March of War. Face Off will be feeling the effects, too. As a preview, I introduce you to the Tesla Tower:

At present, this will be a Command Card with a cross-shaped Area of Effect that deals damage, but also gives mechanicals + attack and moves them forward. The exact features are tentative, which means when you get to play with this card, it might have changed – but it’s bound to be very cool.
It will be a reward for completing StormSiege – more details pending release. We look forward to braving the Storm with you!
