Our Empire Command Card Contest concluded (say that three times fast) yesterday, the 26th, at 00:00 EDT, and we’re excited to say that we got an enormous amount of entries. Some of the ideas were really cool, although unable to be implemented at this time – but we’ll be considering them for future releases. Picking winners was difficult, so in an unprecedented move, we decided to award prizes for second and third place as well. Some of the ones who didn’t officially win will also be featured in game.
Without further ado, though, let’s get to our winners!
In THIRD PLACE and recipient of 150 tickets is StaR with –
Wounded Warriors
Cost: 4
Rarity: Common
AoE (Column) Deal 1 damage to organics and move all allied organics forward one tile.
In SECOND PLACE and recipient of 250 tickets is Arthas with –
Fear Barrage
Cost: 4
Rarity: Bronze
AoE (Column) Allied and enemy units cannot attack for 1 turn.
And finally, in FIRST PLACE and recipient of 500 tickets is Stratgan/Fletcher (renaming confuses Sil, guys) with –
Kamikaze
Cost: 5
Rarity: Bronze
Sacrifice a unit in play to deal 4 damage to target.
The actual in game cards may not be exactly as described in these features, but the effects should be broadly the same when you see the ones that are implemented in game. Wounded Warriors and Fear Barrage may or may not be, but Kamikaze for certain will.
