20XX 0.94b Patch Notes -- March 30, 2016

Hello! Today's 20XX patch brings brings in the first iteration of two of our Boss Rework set (Rollster and Turret). It also reworks all of Ace's alternate primary weapons! We're also brewing up the game's narrative stuff, of which there is one tiny hint in today's build. (The bulk is not ready for prime time yet.)

Disclaimer: 20XX is in beta. As we develop the game, we may make changes that require us to invalidate or wipe your 20XX save files, Steam Leaderboard info/achievements, and other save-y stuff like that. Be aware!

Note: The closer we get to release, the closer the price will get to our planned Full Release price of $15.

TL;DR for today's patch: Two boss reworks! All of Ace's alternate primary weapons reworked!

For the next few patches: More level design work, boss work, narrative work, boss work!

As always, let us know if anything's busted or if we missed a change.

BIG CHANGES:

  • Turret & Rollster bosses reworked. Turret is 60% different, Rollster is 30% different. We'll continue to iterate on both fights, so give us your feedback!
  • All of Ace's non-Saber weapons reworked. They should be much more desirable, but they're also now all pretty different. Find your favorite!

SMALL CHANGES:

  • System Restore no longer cancels out the Sanity Converter's bonus Power damage.
  • Red Slots now put their additional items to the side.

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed a bunch of bugs involving interactable machines in online co-op.
  • Fixed a bug where Thrift Actuators in online co-op caused the host and the client to see different prices.
  • Fixed a bug where The Rebeginner didn't do very much Rebeginning if the client died in networked co-op.
  • Fixed a bug where NPCs fall into the abyss if they're near the player when the Crisis Timestopper triggers.
