Dear players,
Today, Game of Fate 2 is officially launched. I'm truly eager for you all to immerse yourselves in this story of resistance and revenge. Amid the mighty tides of history, each of you has a unique mission. Here, you'll not only pursue thrilling and ambitious goals but also form special emotional connections. When you look back twenty years from now, you may find yourself wondering who the one that truly tugs at your heartstrings was. You might need a bit of patience to unlock a particular special ending in our game, yet I'm fully convinced that it will be well worth the wait.
This time, we've added an Item List feature in the upper - right corner of the game screen. Through this function, those of you who are interested in the history of a hundred years ago can learn some interesting trivia. You might be astonished to find that some cameras from a century ago are almost identical to those of today, and that some of the nursery rhymes we know now were actually spreading in entirely different forms a hundred years ago. Additionally, we're simultaneously releasing a free 4K DLC. We strongly recommend that players with sufficient hard - drive space give it a try. Even if you don't have a 4K monitor, you'll still notice an improvement in the visual quality.
Developing a first - person, story - driven game with elements of an interactive movie is indeed a highly challenging task. Firstly, in this era of scarce attention spans, whether it's truly worthwhile for you all to spend hours experiencing an adventure story, and whether this experience will leave a deep and lasting impression, ultimately rely on your personal experiences. Secondly, the first - person perspective sets a higher standard for the seamless transition between scenes and camera shots. In this regard, Game of Fate 2 has made significant improvements. We've achieved seamless transitions in many action - packed scenes, but there are still some segments where the transitions are perceptible. The third challenge we encountered was related to lighting and shadows. With a vast variety of scenes and weather conditions in the game, ensuring adequate texture and quality in every situation was an enormous challenge. Moreover, the extensive use of smoke effects to enhance the period - drama atmosphere posed great difficulties for our post - production team.
Today, another game, CELLVEILANCE, has been launched on the store page. This is a spin - off story within the “Game of Fate” universe. This time, we've daringly combined taboo topics, fast - paced storytelling, a fully - fledged web - like narrative structure, and open - ended conclusions. We've learned from the experiences and lessons of our previous projects, aiming to present you with a first - person game that is truly sophisticated in its audiovisual language, rich and engaging in gameplay choices, and unique in its narrative core. For the detailed information about the game, please visit our Store Page on Steam.
