I am excited for this release - there are plenty of new changes!
New Features
1. Kubani Hallmark UI: The Kubani hallmark page has been built. Interacting with the ancestral order hallmark should now be much more intuitive.
2. Combat UI Redesign: I have redesigned the initial combat screen. The goal was to create a cleaner, more readable interface while keeping the core mechanics identical. Additionally, if you start a fight manually, you can now transition to a simulation to finish it.
3. Action Panel Updates: The HP bar, energy bar, and coin display have been relocated to the action panel.
4. Trader Adjustments: Some items previously sold for zero coins; traders on the road will now purchase these items for at least 1 coin.
5. Capital & Reputation Update: New buttons have been added to streamline gameplay: you can now start quests directly from the reputation detail page and purchase a home or market from the capital detail page (provided you are at that location).
Bug Fixes
- RAM Leakage: I implemented a fix that addresses 60–80% of the game’s RAM leakage issues by ensuring animations and widgets close properly.
- Loading bug: A few players were failing to load the game. I haven't been able to recreate the problem, but I added some comprehensive checks that may fix the issue. Please let me know if it doesn't help!
- City Screen Switch Bug: Fixed an issue where transitioning from the city screen to the board screen (e.g., via teleportation) would cause an unresponsive pop-up to persist, obstructing your view.
- Investing Bug: Resolved a data contradiction occurring between two screens when investing in village production.
- Enemy Excavation: Previously, excavating an enemy failed to deplete the tile. I have adjusted this so there is now a 60% probability of the tile depleting, which prevents it from being exploited for infinite combat training.
- Main Menu Bug: Clicking "Return to Main Menu" sometimes failed to clear old variables, potentially corrupting subsequent game sessions. This has been resolved.
