Hi everyone,
Thanks for patiently waiting! I'm aware of the performance issues that some players are experiencing. This latest patch aims to address those issues.
- Revamped how optimization was done to the characters (customers especially). Characters that are really far away will either be invisible or have low detailed movement, shadows, and animations. Previously, only their 3D models were affected.
- Optimized some shaders and textures.
- Optimized some animations when far away from the camera.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused customers to not despawn until the game was saved or auto-saved.
- Fixed a bug with the building menu UI for certain languages.
- Frame Rate is now capped to 60 by default. Can still be changed in the Options menu.
That's it for now! Please continue to give feedback and bug reports as I'm committed to improving the game.
Cheers!
-Justin
