Hello, guests!
Thanks to a generous donation from honorable Mephisto, we've been able to continue making improvements to Hell!
Here are some of the improvements --
Bug Fixes
Fixed duplicate gears being able to be equipped at the gear crafting table if 9 gears were already equipped.
Fixed hitting Steel-type enemies with blood instead of sparks.
Fixed the weapon swap icon not displaying when playing with a pad on the Sigil (skill swap) UI screen.
Fixed an issue where defeating enemies during the tutorial would drop Shards and Bloodstones.
Fixed an issue where trying to cancel a change with ESC while changing control keys would cause the ESC key to be bound instead of canceled.
Improvements
When starting the game from a new save slot, you will now be able to choose between Story Mode and Story Skip Mode (Story Mode will allow you to watch the intro and all cutscenes, while Story Skip Mode will skip all cutscenes). Users who choose Story Mode can also skip the intro at any point during the intro story via the pause menu.
You can set whether or not to skip cutscenes in the In-Game Settings window. If cutscene skipping is enabled, the dialog cutscenes that exist in the game will not run and will be automatically marked as complete.
Going forward, any gear in the disassembler that is a duplicate of an already equipped gear in the gear crafting table will lead to the “Swap Gear” feature, even if you don't have all 9 slots equipped, and will only be able to swap with the already equipped duplicate. This is to make it clear that you cannot have duplicates of the same gear.
New: Added an animation for when a gear is disassembled in the Gear Shop.
New: Added a blinking effect to the level and gear enhancement text when a gear is equipped at the gear crafting table that is currently available for enhancement.
In tutorials, the player's movement control icons will be changed to correspond to pad controls (L-stick) for pad users.
That's all for now!
Until next time~!
