HOTFIX! New improvements on 3/20 found here.

Based on player feedback and reporting, we've made the following changes:

Improvements

  • New recruits start with 3 AP to spend. Existing characters will need to visit the medbay and respec to get their extra points. Respeccing returns the correct amount of AP.
  • Mission rewards scale better with mission challenge rating.
  • Mission challenge rebalanced and now has a larger impact on mob hp and damage.
  • Game difficulty setting rebalanced and now has a larger impact on mob hp and damage.
  • Boosted min / max damage range slightly on pistols.
  • Added new manufacturer: Auroch. Because missing sucks. Makes weapons with increased accuracy and armor with increased dodge. Reduced damage on non-melee weapons.
  • The merchant now sells items of levels picked randomly from all recruited crawlers.

Interface

  • Quit menu option when in town is now Save & Quit (updates autosave).
  • Quitting the game at any point updates your autosave and Player Preferences. Quitting while on a mission will fail the mission.
  • Fixed an issue where players could accidently discard equipped items, causing targeting errors in combat (thanks sliddi and Mumbles!)
  • Fixed AutoCipher option showing on trap panels when no AutoCiphers are in inventory.

Combat

  • Combat speed increased overall. Adjustments are ongoing.
  • Fixed an issue where an Overloading Void Psyker could prevent battle from continuing if they died while exploding. (thanks Istvan!)
  • Force Psyker’s Warden’s Wrath ability can no longer be used with Barriers that have 0 health. (thanks rjafarrow!)

Enviornment

  • Plugging of holes that leaked out into spaaaaace!
  • Prevented docking with certain large pieces of machinery.
